Our policy is very simple. We were trained by the best, who by the way, only use these tools on less then 10% of the dogs trained.
As you guys know, any technique we use is based on the current scientific results, it is not an emotional or political decision.
When you come to Motley for help it is very important that we know what training techniques you use and how you honestly interact with your dog. The solution to Fido’s aggression maybe as simple as changing something and/or doing it more effectively.
So, simply stated we want to talk to you about any and all training procedures that you like. If you really like clickers … tell us. unlike most dog trainers we are not bound by a single set of tools and techniques.
I would prefer that you tell me you just love training collars and teach you how to use them appropriately then to just have you out there on your own learning by trial and error. This goes for those who are considering a dog training system base on just these collars. Come to us or email Motley and we will explain why this is not best practice in dog training. Then we can teach you how these tools should be used and when and if using them is the most effective. You will at least be able to make an more educated decision.
Remember you are paying us to teach you what we know about dogs and our methods. However, we are always working to improve and find the techniques that not only work but, that are best for you and your dog. So, talk to us let us know what you are thinking.
This does not mean that we are saying our way is the only way. If you are familiar with us you know we spend the majority of our time learning about dog training.
So, please keep in mind with Motley Dog Dog Training we teach you what our experience tells us has worked the best in similar situations.
Unlike most dog trainers we know that we are not right for every dog or owner. We also differ from most dog trainers in that we know that even if you are the tenth team we have seen in a day that have problems attacking other dogs you are individuals and we respect that. What worked for the last 9 may not be right for you and your teammate.
